If you haven't seen our batwing or saddlebags yet, check out our site www.deadcentercycles.com or give me a call 1-866-971-3323. (Or BOTH!) I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.
This is the first bad post i have seen. Was thinking of ordering one and just wondering What was the issue with them?
You can do a search, but basically ones he gets his money your **** out of luck getting any customer service. That and he lied and cut corners to save money
-1 Skip the Reckless, Alex is a scumbag. I'd spent a few extra bucks and get a Hoppe or dragonfly
Well I guess if you were going to mount Alex on the front of your bike, you would have a valid point, but the question is about fairings.
Shipping is slow, customer service is bad, product is good considering the cost of other fairings.
Obviously, there is a trade-off. I did not want to spend a lot of money and chose Reckless, and was happy with the quality...others may want to take in the other considerations and pay more.

I wouldn't do anything for Alex, or recommend his products. I would pay more to know I was getting what I asked and paid for. An owner should go above and beyond for a customer (which I wasnt asking) not make them feel like a hassle or a pain just because THEY screwed up not me.
product is good considering cost of others doesn't mean it's a good product. Oh and one year into it the paint is chipping. Might call to see about his warranty, should be a real laugher.
Thanks for the input guys. I'm looking into a few of your suggestions, any idea where a Custom leather Bra for the Batwings can be sourced, probably have to be a semi universal one, unless one of the suggested suppliers makes them, I've sent some emails out asking, it might look good and match the leather Osprey bags I ordered last week.
I went with Exotic Body Parts.. Ordered all the stereo equipment and built it myself..
Really enjoyed the process.. It did take then awhile to ship it though..
I put a wideopen custom on mine and I have been very happy. it has performed as expected. I bought it at a bike show in KC MO for $800 if i remember right and had it in three days. it is an abs fairing and comes with the stereo and speakers(4-5.25). it is also one piece not two half's. I have put about 10,000 miles on the bike with the faring and have had no issues at all.
