Not to be a dick but it will be hard to to get a bike at a low price that's as good if not better then your Train in your eyes. Just buy the SG and close this thread bud you know ya want one and maybe it's a sign to get one everything happens for a reason and it all falls into place.

Sound advice there.

While I am new the softail side of this forum, I have been following you and back and forth on should you get a SG, should you upgrade your suspension, to now this. And that's OK, we ALL go back and forth, including me before getting my Fatty. But things happen for a reason. Stop trying to replace your Train, bc it ain't gonna happen. You put your heart and soul into that bike and that stings, but you need to pick a direction that YOU want to go, and go there. ONLY YOU can make the decision on what bike.

And BTW, picking a bike is NOT a life long decision despite what we all think when we make that purchase. If you find that you picked the wrong one a year or two down the road, sell it and move on from that.

Good luck.

Well, I just got schooled. You guys are 100% right. I am going to move on.

Thanks for all your advice and mostly for being a bunch of good guys. Wish we all didn't live in so many different places- I'd buy all of ya a cocktail!

Cheers.

You have moved on from that so it doesn't matter. My point was he wants about $400 less for a 6 (almost 7) year old bike than it cost new. Add on's don't mean crap on resale unless someone has to have the add on. He is out of touch with reality on how much the bike is worth.
