Default Question about lowering

Just installed the ebay lowering bolts. Went on easy and bike looks and rides great.

Is there any reason i need to adjust the belt now that it is lowered? Last bike I lowered was a dual sport and I had to loosen the chain because the angle of the swingarm made the chain real tight after it was lowered.

Nope. You should be good to go. With a Softail, you can raise and lower your sled while riding (if you have an airshock) with no adverse results. After all, the swingarm is constantly moving up and down while you are on the road. Your bike is engineered to keep even tension on the belt despite the constant swingarm movement. Now, show us some pics of your newly lowered Softail and go for a ride!

If you're going to leave it lowered all the time you might check the tension at it's new location, but it's prolly OK.
