Default Apes on the Train With pics!

Well after about 5 long days my ape project on my Train is done and I LOVE them like a new bike should have done this back in march when I go her.
Specs
Bars: 12" Santee Black Powder Coated Internally Wired
Risers: 1.5" chrome with stock HD cap and black bolts
Cables: stock HD Crossbones clutch and throttle and idle brake is my stock one had just enuff with the front being so low.
Wires: Novello 12" ext. went with them longer cause it was only an extra $4 and it's nice to know ya go extra just incase.

It took atleast 3 days longer then it should have cause I started this on Friday night and was waiting on my Novello ext to arrive and then last night when it was all about done I pushed my luck lifting the back end of the tank up and hear a psssssshhh sound then see gas all over. So of course the dealer was closed but a quick trip there today to get a new fuel line unit from the tank to the injection solved the broken piece. So FYI guy disconnect your fuel line at the tank if you slide your tank around . Anyway I'm 6'4" 250 and with these apes and my new bare bones seat and ness 3" ext the bike fits like a glove and I love it. Any taller bar I think will look too tall these are perfect. Wanted to share some pics of her all done at a favorite spot of mine on some tracks. Oh and I can now see out of my mirrors that's nice! Had stock drags on it no good!

Tool bag
On swing arm is temp only movin it and putting a real swing arm bag there soon.

Heh, where's the pic that shows the irony of one train smashing the other into a billion pieces?

Looks sweet, dude!

Thanks guys for the comments!
Lol yeah ya know everytime I stop there for pics even though those tracks are not used too much and I can see in both directions really well I still can see it getting smashed and me jumping into the bushes!

Those front sigs are built into the Pro 1 trees. Lucked out and that was on the bike when I bought it.

Next mod this winter new fenders front and rear going with a Jesse James Thombstone front and a Kustom Werks Sabre rear short style and run bare struts a poor mans heartland

Thanks man, yeah I love the pro 1 trees black and the turn sigs built in rocks!

To polish the rear wheel I bought a Meguiars Power Cone kit that comes with the foam cone that goes in any power drill and some of their metal polish worked great. Then I just wipe it down every so offen with a quick detailer and microfiber towel. I'm actually thinking about painting it a gloss black when I do the fender swap but not sure yet.

Cool man, I will have to check that out. I need to find something I can use on that back wheel to get it shiney (like chrome).

The wheel gloss black would be sick!
