Default Bawler seat hardware

I'm putting a Brawler seat on my Deuce. Does HD sell the hardware needed to mount the seat or do I take out the grommet (if that's what it's called),from thefender where the stock seat fastenedand use that. I'd like to keep the original fender grommet in place and get a new one.

Thanks,

Jim

You can get an additional grommet from the dealer - around $5 or so. If I remember right, you will get a small black plug with your brawler that plugs the hole where the grommet would be if you took it out. They're kinda ugly sticking out of the fender.

My brawler came with a thumb screw that has a little chrome disk with the HD logo that I had to insert. Then I justswitched the threaded insert with the plastic coverin solo seat hole. If you want to keep threaded inserts in both holes, you would have to buy another one.

BTW I have been pleasantly surprised at how comfortable that seat is. Much better than stock.

Buy the extra threaded fixing so that you can switch back to two-up nice and easily. Also HD sell a nice chromed screw cover that fits into the spare fixing that you will be left with. It's about $1 and cleans up the rear of the fender nicely!
