Can anyone tell me why my 06 Deuce looses it's rear break after long stop and go traffic. I will be riding in heavy traffic and the rear break peddle will begin to fade lower and lower until there is no break at all. Note if I pump it I will get some break back????

When was the last time you replaced your break fluid? It may have water in it which compresses differntly than the fluid especaillly after it heats up. You could also assume that the water has started to pit your master cylinder bore walls and/or pistons. You might as well go for a rebuild since you should flush the system anyway in either case.
No leaks found and the master cylinder break fluid looks good but will take your advice and rebuild the Master flush and replace the break fluid with new. If that doesn't do it I'll be back. I would hate to go to Harley and loose the month of August riding.
Yep, my guess is either your fluid is breaking down under heat due to age or your system is sucking air somewhere. Rebuild it, bleed them and you should be good.
Funny you mention this. I was riding my bike home last night and experienced the same thing. Haven't had a chance to look at what the cause of the problem is, but sounds like I need to do the same thing.

How did you determine that there are "no leaks"? You have to disassemble the master cylinder to service what 'leaks' (rubber seals, grooved cylinder/piston).
