Default question on fork tubes

im changing out stock hd springs puttin in progressive springs
got all apart except the tube it self, do you take a screwdriver and open it up or is there a tool?

Not sure if the rocker is the same, but I carefully pried the dust boot off with a small screwdriver, remove the retaining spring clip underneath it, and with the bottom damper bolt removed, use the tube as a slide hammer to pull the seal free. Everything should then come apart. Again, this was on my softie, and I know those rockers are slightly different.
