Recently my rocker would not start. All the lights and the fuel enjector were turning on. All my bike would do is click and not turn over. I roll started it and rode it home. I left the bike alone for a few hours and returned to try and start it. It started with no issue. Can anyone tell what their idea is that might be wrong or going wrong with my bike?
It could still be a bad battery even though the lights etc... Turn on. Start looking at simple stuff first:
Make sure the battery cables are clean and tight to the battery terminals. If you have a battery tender but that on and make sure you have a fully charged battery.
After that you need to check for system error codes, make sure the battery is being propery charged by the charging system - stator, regulator and make sure the starter isn't failing.
That does sound like it might be your battery. Try topping the battery off and see if that helps. My starter button went bad on my rocker also. Good luck.
I had a shitty battery in mine last month ..it would be fine goin the 50 miles to work and then 12 hours later it would just barely crank..wen i got home id charge it and same thing the nxt day..dropped 127 or so on a new one ans viola..starts like a champ
