I'd advise getting some touch up paint.
Every bike I've seen with fenders cut to a narrow leading edge have chips of paint missing.

How did you get your fender so low?

Yea, it's chipped already and looking to get a touch up paint.
Thanks for your thoughts!

I replaced the stock 19" with a Heartland Rocker Replica 21".
It required slotting the fender's mounting holes to raise it enough to clear the larger wheel.

You might try here for paint.
http://colorrite.com/
I got touch up pens and spray with clear to paint my tank lift pieces.
Perfect match on the color for mine.

Wow, this is a great site!
I'd figure that this would be a lot cheaper than going to the dealer to get it done.
Thanks for the info!

Ahhhh gotcha.

So, could I put my fender up and lower it on the tire where I want, mark and drill new holes in my stock fender and then buy some touch up paint from colorrite to paint the areas from the new drill holes?

EDIT: Nevermind, I don't think that will work because there really isn't room to drill new holes to lower the fender...and it would look like crap. Guess its new fender time...

Instead of using washers, I cut a piece of stainless and drilled it to hide the slots.
I rounded the top and bottom instead of leaving shaped like a narrow rectangle.
