Just got a 2010 softail deluxe, rode a 74 custom chopper for 10 years and want to stretch out my deluxe. Putting Wild one chubby apes to start but still not sold on the floorboards. Any suggestions? Also want to change out the stock pipes for something a little throatier but wont wake the dead.

 

Get Harley goodies floorboard extenders. I installed a set on my Luxe and it made a huge difference in comfort. I feel like I'm on a lazy boy now

 

You could also go with a seat that moves you farther back.

 

Still figuring out how to work this site but Thanks guy's, just ordered a floorboard relocation kit from kuryaken says it will move them 1 inch out and 1 inch forward. Doesn't seem like much, but we'll see. Gonna check out Harley Goodies anyway. As far as the seat I hope I don't have to go that route at this time.
