I went to the dealer today and we worked out a deal and shook hands on it. I was going back in Tuesday morning to do all the paperwork. It was a good deal. They called a little while ago and said they decided not to do the deal. I guess I should have stayed another hour or two and finished the paperwork but it had been several hours already and I decided to leave. I'm disappointed their handshake doesn't mean what mine does. Oh well.

I don't know many businesses that would do that. Thats what hand shakes are for. I'm with you on that one. My hand shake is my word which defines my character. Any business that would do that , I would not trust them anyway. Move on to a business that has some character and let the forum know their name.
Well, I knew it was a very good deal on my side so I'm not going to name them but I do feel like they should live up to their agreement just as they'd expect me to. Then again, that let's me check on bikes with other dealers.
Look at it this way...at least you know what kind of people they are now BEFORE you bought from them. Lots of others out there that DO believe in a hand-shake!
