2005 vs 2007 coils
I am looking to install a 2007 softtail deluxe coil and cover on my 2005 deluxe.
I was palnning to just use the new coil cover on my 2005 deluxe but it will not fit over the 2005 coil as it is much larger than the 2007.
Would there any problem installed the new, smaller style 2007 coil and cover on my 2005 deluxe?

I put the newer style cover on my 05 Fatboy. The outer plastic/phenolic on the coil is to big and hits the cover. I cut the outer portion off and it fits. The internals are sealed and I've not had any issues for 2 years . Customization at it's best but not for everyone.
