I know I feel sick to my stomach when I think back on some of the bikes I've sold and how much I miss them. More so than any woman from my past! I can't imagine how bad it must feel to have one TAKEN from you. I feel for you Brother.

I know kinda how you feel, at least the way I am thinking about it. I think you see a lot of bad crap being a cop. A very good friend of mine is a cop, and being a cop has certainly made him a bit jaded in life. And now, some of the bad crap has happened to you - not the "work" you, but the "personal" you. And perhaps you are experiencing some of what you see daily, and it fricken sucks. It hit you close to home, it struck a cord with you. So the only thing you can do right now is give it time. Time will heal these things.

We put alot of us into our bikes. It's ours and a part of us. Everytime I look at mine I see what I want to do and change, not nessecarily for the "better", but it's what I like and want for my bike, it's the time we spend modifying and the time we spend thinking about it. You have that taken from you, it feels like a part of you has been taken. If it was a truck or a stock metric that I just owned to kill time I wouldn't give 2 *****, but not my harley. That's personal.
