that reminds me of some of the pistons laying around the shop where my dad worked.. he worked semis for 45 yrs.. i remember as a little kid i was always amazed at the shear size of the eng, trans and diff parts..

Know you know that but just to answer out loud (for the first poster only since that was one of his concerns) since the oil pump return rotor is much larger then the pump pressure side it will not. The crank shaft flywheel rotors never spin in oil..UNLESS the return side of the oil pump has a problem. Then that of course would be another problem.
