After finding out how far out of his way it was it was decided to overnight the shock to my next location and I would reinstall it as I put the first two on. I just want everyone to know what kind of customer service JD offers up. Just wish every company I dealt with was this great. JD you truly do have the best customer service out there today. Thanks again.
WOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! although i do not have a shotgun what this JD has done is just plain stand up. At this day and age where no one gives a CHIT about anything anymore.JD You give me hope still that someone still does care.Thanks.

My post wasnt meant to rip on JD. I can appreciate his customer service. Im just not that into workin on my bike. Im more into ridin it. That said, I will have a shotgun on my bike as soon as I can afford one. Looks like the newest model may be the one that lasts a good long time. We have all dealt with companies that dont know you after you send them the money, so its awesome that JD goes the extra mile.
A big shout out to JD is right. Since I have been on this forum I have been following all threads about the Shotgun shock. I was like most people when a new products comes out you want some or any feedback on it. I know for a fact that if anything did go wrong with the shotgun, he went above and beyond to fix it for any rider that posted a thread about the problem. I never heard or read anything negative about him or his customer service. Some of the threads you read how he went about taking care of his customers is unheard of when it comes down to customer service and most of all, he himself is the one that fixes the problem. That is the reason I ordered one last week from him. I live thousands of miles from him here in Ma. and am sold just on the facts of his product and especially his service. He has answered each and every e-mail and phone call that I had certain questions about. He sent out the shock the same day I ordered it. Anxiously waiting for the man in brown to deliver it to my front door. LOL. It is due this week. I still cannot think of any other company and product that gives you a lifetime guarantee without any hassle whatsoever. It truly is unheard from. I am glad I became a customer and should of long ago and especially knowing if I ever do have a problem, I know it will be fixed with no questions asked. I asked him if I can call him if I have any trouble with the install when I do it and he told me to call him anytime. JD, if your out their, I thank you...Ray

Your welcome,Ray. If you have any install questions my cell # is 3233594914 and any one else with a question aout shotgunshock, give me a shot.
Again I will say it. You get what you pay for. I am far from being rich but if I am going to buy something for my bike I try to buy the best. Not because I am a show off either. I am just tired of fooling with junk. I have learned much in my nearly 40 years of riding and its so true that "you get what you pay for"!!! There is no air ride system out there right now that compares to the shotgun shocks. JD's service is also beyond reproach. I could never again imagine riding a bike without this system on it. If I ever sold this bike, which I doubt I ever will, this shotgun air ride is coming off. It would be the burley bolt ons back on it and the shotguns on my new bike. I would only buy another softail so I would be good to go with my new bike as well.
I've said before what you all are saying now. JD in straight up real deal. Spent some time with him at his booth in Sturgis, and he was helping out guys that didn't even have his system. I watched him give a guy about a 2 foot piece of airline for free. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much anyway, but JD had to pay for it and wouldn't accept any money. Thanks JD for letting me park my bike at your booth and for all you do for us here on the forum.
Me likes the testimonials. Hopefully mine dont go pew pew for a few years...or else JD may have to come up to Canada and fix mine:P
But serious...glad there is great support for a great product that I and many others rave about.
On a tech note, I got a question. I find myself continuously adjusting mine while dealing with my garage apron and fan requests. More you hit the switches, the shorter the life on the shotgun?
i don`t mean to hi-jack this thread..... but i have a .....maybe a retarded question....... since you check the oil on your sled on the jiffy.......how do`s this shock affect the reading.....i`m going to get it..... sgs...... just asking........ the level on the oil tank will change..... ok....call me a tart...thank bro`s.....as you were............oh sorry th sale is over the 31st
