Default 08 FatBoy

I am currently riding a 2008 FLSTF, and have been looking at the Combination Speedo / Tach... Part number 70900070... As Seen Here... Anyone have one installed and know if there are any issues with getting mileage transferred over?? I just picked up this bike over the weekend (after trading in my 92 FLSTF)... Any advise would be great!!

I believe it comes with a jumper cable that you hook to the ECU and follow the instructions to upload current milage to the gauge.

I installed it on my 09. It was completely painless to transfer. It did come with a cable. Just plugged it in and followed the instructions. It's a great item. I even have a fairly accurate fuel gauge now. The miles til empty is pretty much spot on.

I own an 08 fatboy and installed the same speedo/tach last year. As stated in a previous response, just use the supplied cable and follow the directions. Once programmed, the speedo will marry to the ecm within 100 miles or so. After that it cannot be used on any other bike.
