Couple of good points about 'filling the wheel' - I'm eyeing off a set or Arlen Ness' Evil 7 for my 2007 Deuce. Keeps the wheel 'full' giving a bit more spoke that a 5 spoke or star pattern, but not as cluttered as PM's Seville or Hooligan style (10 spoke), which to look awesome a a mates Dyna Wide Glide. I figure the Evil 7 keeps with the long and low design of the Deuce.

That sure is a pretty wheel. There are so many choices. However, I decided on the PM Seville. I just like the looks of it. And it will look great on the rear with the pulley side rotor.

Over time I will beslowly replacing all the hardware with polished stainless steel. So I will do the same with them when I do replace the lines.
I like using stainless instead of chrome. Its not as "bright" but it has the virtue of being easier to clean, less to polish, and no problems withrust starting underflaking chrome.

Don't forget there are a hell of a lot of nuts, bolts, and washersall over the bike from the factory that are plated with that instant rust cad crap. THOSE have to go, at least on my bike they do.
And I found a couple of places that make replacement bolt sets in polished stainless.
Just need to save up the coinsto get a setfor myself.
Also a little too much pressure with a wrench will often pop the chrome plating off enough to let it start to rust underneath.

I've pretty much replaced all the nuts and bolts on the bike. I'm just waiting for my PM Seville wheel now to go with the PM 6 piston caliper. I have new Joker Machinemarker lightsand spy mirrors too. I'll be using the marker lights for directionals.

I agree. There isn't one piece of exposed zinc hardware left on my bike that isn't either replaced with chrome hardware or hot topped..

It amazes me to look at some of the nice machines on these forums where the owner probably has over 30K invested, and all of that zinc hardware on their engines and frames are left exposed. It kills the bike for me..

If you're stuck on that wheel, I would call around to see if someone has one in stock. Try www.bikersimage.com.
Remember, if you ever want to replace your back wheel, youwill be screwed.
Personally, I would pick something different. If you ever have a problem, you may not be able to get a replacement.

I liked that wheel, but it's fairly old and there are a lot of bikes out there with it. Look at the new releases, then you have a pretty good shot of having the only one in your area.
