I didn't really like the breakout based on internet and brochure pictures, but today I sat on one at the Progressive IMS show and it was amazing! The fit and finish are perfect. The 3d sculpted wheels and triple floating disks are unbelievable! They had a sample tank at the display that showed the different layers and finishes that go into the paint process. It was just one unbelievable motorcycle in person. Those of you that have them or are getting them are very lucky!

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like a blinged out Duece with a Rocker elongated tank. Seems like a lot of $$$ for the extra chrome, paint, and that SE110. I like the looks and the concept, but I would rather build my own knock off with off the shelf parts. I wonder how long it will take one of the chop-shops to come out with their own version?

The tank doesn't look like a Deuce/Rocker stretched tank. I think the console less look is making you think it's stretched.
The swing-arm looks like a Rocker with it's oval shaped vs. round tubing on all other non-140mm swing-arms. It even looks like our Rocker's rear axle with it's huge allen head ends.

I definitely think it has design elements of the Deuce and Rocker, and that's part of why it appealed to me, BUT, there are items that are unique to this bike that make it very different as well, which to me doesn't make it a "knock-off" in the least.

*tank design-removed the fuel guage, put the vent lines on top via braided lines with a very minimal console.
*Seat-first of these I have ever seen on a production Harley(certainly in recent memory)-alligator scale design in brown, with a pillian that truly acts as a backrest.
*No center rear brake light- pull that silly reflector from the rear center of the fender and you have a very, very clean rear end on this bike.
*wheels-well, obviously these are unique to this bike, along with the 130 tire..
*110 SE motor-was not available on the Rocker or Deuce from the factory.
*The Breakout rides lower and is longer than either the Rocker or Deuce which gives it a slammed and long appearance.
*Obviously the paint is unique on every Breakout produced, which is a pretty expensive process to reproduce outside of the factory..

Not being defensive at all just because I own one either. I looked at this bike from every angle possible for weeks based on all the pictures and video to ensure I wasn't spending $26k on something that I could do with a pull off factory frame and piece the parts together myself for way less money.

See the bike in person and I wonder if it will modify your opinion....I know it did for me :-)

Having all of the performance mods and upgrades with a 5 year factory warranty was the final selling point for me.
