There are a few electrical issues that aren't a major deal individually, but now compounded its got me wondering if I may have a wiring issue emerging. First problem, it seems my automatic turn signal canceling doesn't work as well as it used to. More than a handful of times, I've been well out of a turn and my signal will stay on for a while before shutting off. Next issue, I've blown 2 front right turn signal bulbs in a week. Not the signal filament tho, the running light filament. Next issue, my bike doesn't seem to recognize my key fob as quickly anymore. Today, I had it in my swingarm bag when my daughter and I got ice cream. I got back on the bike and the alarm went off and wouldn't start. I had to take the fob out of my bag and put it in my pocket for the bike to start. The battery is 2 years old in the fob, and original in the bike as far as I know. I got 19k on the bike now. Any ideas??
i also have been popping the running lite side of bulbs. never had a problem until i relocated the front turn signals. so what i did was remove the relocator brackets and applied dialectric grease to all mounting areas and on the new bulbs. So far that has fixed my problem, which i figured was bad grounding and overheating the circuit.
as far as I know, the front lights are 3 wire, which mean internally grounded through wiring, not contact from the light to the frame. I relocated mine but I did it like 3 years ago and haven't had an issue until now.
hey six i came across another guy on this site, same problems.... another said to look at the license plate lites.... being burned out well i went out and sure nuff my were both burned out.... not sure how or why, but it must be a voltage deal.
i seen you had posted something bout different console etc on your deuce, but me being a new member i couldnt see the pics. any chance you could post the picture instead of an attachment?

I'm wondering if something isn't loose or bad from when I had the plug apart to run the internal wiring for my apes. And I plan on replacing that battery again, just gotta get to the store and buy one.
