I often scrape my pegs & heels so I damn sure would be scraping my boards if I had any.

I've thought of putting a piece of steel under mine to act as a sacrificial bumper. The shower of sparks would look good at night! Probably wouldn't last that long anyway.

I live outside the city limits on one of the best roads here in Nova Scotia for bike riding. Lots of twistys. I scrape mine almost every time i ride. Interestingly though I believe I scrape my right side more than my left. Might have something to do with me being right handed??
