Just talked to the guy: he bought it a year ago locally, had hip surgery and can't ride. This is a fairly small town, so it only took about a half hour to find out who the previous local owner was. SUPPOSEDLY has been modified to a 95 inch by Legacy Cycles, Casper, Wyoming.
The guy will call me tonight with the VIN, I'll run it through Cycle Checks and call Legacy Cycle and go from there !!

Doubt you get it that cheap but you are not far off. Bikes that are selling are about half way between trade (6000) and retail (8300) so around $7000-7500 if in good shape.
The Deuce is the red headed step child of the Harley world, nothing fits it. Also 2000 is first year for Twin Cam B. And of course tensioners but you have some miles before you worry about that.
Start at your $6600 and go from there.
If you search "completed listings" on Ebay only two 2000's actually sold recently... one for $7000 one for $7050
Well, no call from the seller last night. He was supposed to call me with the VIN. Guess I will just go look at it, get the VIN myself while checking it out. Hmm...
Damn.... you guys are some serious bargainers. Pick up a Deuce with a 95 build for $6000? I need to get one of these deals.
OP, if they said SE package... to me that is SE air cleaner, SE pipes, and a map on the EFI for the setup. If it is a 95 build... that is not a bad price for that if the rest of bike is inline. Deuce's are cool with a little work on the setup. The rear fender looks kind of crappy unless you lower it and sink the tire in it pretty deep. Then it goes from being funky to bad *** dramatically. It also use to have one of the bigger rear tires due to setup back when they made it.

I don't think this guy even knows that work has been done on it !! I got the additional info from the previous owner, but will see if he has any maint. documentation. He has a weird work schedule, so not sure when I will get to see it, but I can't see it disappearing around here at that price.
So far the only thing I have found is the indicator panel under the speedo. There is NOTHING out there for them. I want to ditch mine and run just a normal speedo with all my lights and indicators in that. I have drag bars SEII slip ons with BCT baffles, and a fuel pak. Finding a good seat or sissy bar is kind of a pain as well.
Are we talking after market stuff ? Did an image search, saw many Deuces with bags, shields, pipes, etc. What doesn't fit ? Engine should be the 88b, so that shouldn't be a problem ?
Mostly bolt ons, windshield, seats, sissy bars, dash. It's the long gas tank that makes stuff not fit. Look in the parts catalog, most items will say fits softails except Deuce. The engine & frame is the same.
With the 95" $6000 is a steal. $7000 is a good deal. Did they do anything else when they did the 95"? Cams, gear drive?
