Default 2013 fatboy lo

Hey anybody out there with the 2013 fatboy lo? I want to get one in the winter but I haven't seen them at the dealer yet. All they have in is the Softail slim. Don't know how close they are to each other. Any info would be great. This is yonna be my first bike, and I'm super pumped about it. 5'8 185

I also liked the slim. How it fit my body, so I didn't know iF the lo was close to that one. Also do you drag your floorboards a lot?

You should test ride them both before you buy one.

Nothings different besides the color options. Unless you are dead set on the orange or you want the 110 anniversary edition trim you're probably better off getting a great deal on a leftover 12' and having a bunch of money for mods. That's what I would do anyways. I got a 12' instead of a leftover 11' but had a lot more reason to since it came stock with a 103.

I don't think there is a huge difference as to fit of the bike compared to the LO. Test ride them both if you can. Other things to consider is if you want mag or spoke wheels. I am assuming the new spoke wheels are tubeless, I am not sure.

I like the mag wheels because there is no chance of loose spokes and there are no tubes.

Lo has a fat rear tire which I like.
Slim sits a tad lower

Yes it is possible and easy to scrape floor boards on the LO. But it can also be avoided depending on riding style.

What ever bike you choose enjoy it and have fun. If you have not already done so I would suggest taking the MSF course. Have fun and good luck.

Yeah if I can find one that's the way I'll go. Can't wait to come to the dark side!

I'm going to take the msf course. Its 350, but when you buy the bike within 3 months they give it bake to you. I'll end up using that for some mods.
