So I bought a set of saddlemen throwover bags for the bike. Got them in and saw I need a bracket it. Well, I don't like any of the brackets on the market and I don't want anything permanent, so I decided to make my own. Wanted to make a quick detach and had some nice stainless in the shop so I was on my way. Pretty happy with how they turned out and for having less than $100 into the project, I'm very happy.
This is what I started with....
Plate attached......
And mounted on the bike.....
I'll powdercoat them in the winter, but they don't interfere with the swingarm and since they are molded inside, they will keep their shape pretty well. Now I don't have to strap everything to the sissybar.
