I kinda agree with ya. It looks stupid as heck when they're pushed past the fork line. A little past I can see, but some are just ridiculous. One of our riders says it makes him feel like he's bad. He looks dumb as he**, arms all stretched out, but it makes him feel like a bada$$ so we don't bust his ***** over it too bad. Some guys need all the help they can get.
wow very nice of you to talk about your partner behind his back. If you think it looks dumb, just tell him. I tell what looks dumb to me... stock bars. I also think beach bars look bad *** on a parked bike, but look ridiculous when riding with hands down on side and wide out. Looks really old fashion and saggy. But guess what... my opinion is just that, an opinion. And just like yours it is a dime a dozen on the subject. Personally bars pulled forward look good to me. Some ride for comfort and others ride for looks as well. Anyone who tries to look like a bad ***...isn't a bad *** in the first place so it is a failure no matter how hard you try to make your bars or what style you prefer. lol

I never talk about someones bike or riding style it's THERE bike and THERE style so what? Anyway a lot of guys have there bars pushed forward because they are big guys I mean if your 6'5 and have arms that are 3 feet long you need to move the bars forward.
I personally dig your ride! Bars look like they are supposed to! Bad ***! LOL!
Thanks man, and it's like you said - If the bars are lined up with the forks it feels like you are hanging on to the bars and pulling your body up instead of sitting more upward and holding onto the bars. Maybe for little dudes it's different, but I am 6ft and it feels much better the way they are.

(Oh, I almost forgot ~~ It also looks cooler )
Yep, me too. Going from the 10" mini stock apes to the 12" Wild 1 Outlawz I can feel a difference in how much more comfortable the 12" is for me and causes me to sit more upright with them pushed forward. I am 5' 11" and probably could have gone taller but to me, the 12" ones feel perfect.
I think I have agreed before ... but yea, it is also looks cooler. Lol
Okay; I always thought they looked a little strange pushed forward, but after looking at a few of them, I am beginning to see that they look OK that way. I just know that everyone that has them say they are way more comfortable than other bars, and most are pushed forward as that is the most comfortable way to ride with them. That makes sense. I am 6' 1" and still like my buckhorns. I can sit back or lean forward and be comfortable in either position. It does help me on long rides to change positions once in a while. I think I could go for maybe 12" or 14" apes, but I really do not like the look when they get any taller than that. But most say for my height I would need at least 16", so I will probably stick with the old buckhorns. I've been hard headed all my life. LOL
I have another upadte on these bars...I decided to keep running them for a while until this last weekend. I have a heating pad on my neck I can't move it in any direction with out severe pain well guess what after a long ride fighting the wind and having a full face helmet on this just isn't good anymore I love the way my bike looks now its just I can't justify feeling like this anymore. My wife has TOLD me to get new nars she's tired of me acting like a big baby LOL... looks like some different bars are on the list.
