Only LED's on my bike are the tail light and turn signals.
I like the fact that they turn on and off faster and brighter than the stock bulbs making the bike more visible day or night.
My markers blink fast also (because I do not have a load equalizer and I left it like that because the faster blinking catches the eye more)
I am not worried about being seen at night, daytime is when you are "invisible"
I don't really care for the led accent lighting, BUT.. I don't hate on them either. They look kinda cool on certain bikes even if it does look a little "civic like"

I think you misunderstood what I meant, I didn't mean they blink 'faster'.
I meant that they turn ON faster.
A LED takes only 1/5th the time to come to full brightness that it takes for a standard incandescent bulb.
Someone figured out that going on that much quicker means the guy behind me sees it 15 feet sooner than with the stock bulbs at 30mph.
30 feet might not sound like a lot, but who knows.
It might be the difference between him stopping 5 feet behind me, or 5 feet in front of me in a panic stop.

Ahh okay Thnx for clarifying ~~ yes u are correct, they do that too.
But I did still leave mine without a load equalizer so they blink faster "between blinks" and I actualy had a cop tell me that they thought that was "neat" as he put it haha
My bike had them on it when I bought it, I removed all of them. They did look cool but reminded me of something that should be on a civic. Just my opinion
Or a Busa w/a 20 in extended swingarm and 1000 spikes. LOL
I have a yellow 2011 Heritage softail classic, and just ordered amber lights so I can light my bike up with... my only question is what c/breaker did you wire it in at... but I do like the look... is my first harley...

I installed a separate circuit with a 5 amp fuse and toggle switch.
That was the same thought I had... hope to do it this weekend... just debating where to put the switch... I want to keep drilling into my bike down to nothing if at all possible... and also since this is the first time I've done this.. I have led strips that stick to the bottom of the tank, but how does one get the lighting into the engine... where did you get your lighting?
