Man you got it looking SWEET!! Hows the new solo seat feel? I am looking for a new seat so just curious how comfy it is.
Well, I haven't been on any long rides with it yet so it's hard to say. I rode about 80 miles today but it was alot of stopping and starting so not alot of just in the seat miles.
So far though, to me... it feels as comfortable as the Badlander seat I had, which probably isn't saying much. lol But it feels fine to me.
Lookin' good, man! Lovin' the clean look. As already mentioned above, I'd leave the lower belt guard off altogether unless you ride on a lot of roads with gravel or loose debris. I'd lose the upper guard, as well and show off that shiny, new pulley. If ya absolutely gotta have one, these low-profile shorty guards from the MoCo look pretty sweet. They come in chrome, as well...
Try a length of fuel line- 3/8" or 1/2". tape it to the top of the tire and lay the fender on it. See which gap you like.
P.S. you might even find a nail polish color close to your bike's.
Ok, cool. I can find some fuel line cheap at Lowe's so that should work great. And you are right, I bet there is some nail polish close enough to my color where you couldn't tell (especially were it is located). Perfect!
Now, I gotta figure out how exactly to make the holes larger.. with either a drill bit or the dremel. I can only do this once and I really, really, really don't want to jack up my stock fender. lol
Nice looking softail. The only thing I'd change is putting the plate back under the fender to clean that side up. Nice ride though.
I missed your post. whoopps! I HATE the way the license plate hung off the taillight, that's why I axed it. lol I have the TRI BAR LED tail light and it actually looks really clean back there with it.

Great suggestion! I actually did think about removing both guards because I really don't ride in any sandy or gravel roads. I do worry about something getting up there and breaking the belt though... the roads here in Fresno, CA are still not the best. I will looking into those shorty guards.... those would look sweet on mine in chrome I think.
