I currently have an 09 heritage with V & H softail duals. I'm looking at getting rid of the soft saddle bags, and going to the Sumax hard bags. However, the dual exhaust will end just prior to the end of the hard bags, thus would leave dark stains on the bags. I called V & H and asked if they made a longer slip on pipe so I could extend them beyond the bag. They dont. Samson does make a 28, and 33 inch slip on for their duals, but the brackets don't line up. Anyone know of a company who makes slip on's that are compatable with V & H?

 

The easiest thing to do is sell that system and get the Sampson. There is no easy way to achieve what you want.....you need the right part for the job.
