You can lower it for under $100 using the Dead Creek Cycles lowering collars. Very easy to install and makes a huge difference in the look of the scoot.

Time to update this thing....

So shortly after i posted last pics, my Slim got backed into in front of my house. Worked things out with the driver. I did not want to go back to stock since I then had the option to change the look of the bike.

I played wit the stock fender some until I figured out what I wanted to do.

Decided on a Demon Cycle Strutless rear fender. I had to modify it some to get it to fit. It looks a little rough but that is what welding and body work is for. Once i got the new fender on, i found that my stock Slim seat no longer fits correctly (not surprised). I also got a set of short shots, duece air cleaner cover, and a set of mini apes. Only spent $5 on the bars.

I installed an Avon Venom 160/80/16 on the rear. Arlen Ness Big sucker intake, and Arlen Ness mirrors.

Then I added a light bar. I also went to the local swap meet and picked up a crash bar and a stock FLSTC seat. I added the shock boots too Lets see someone key those! lol. I also painted a few things. The crash bar, fork lowers, shifter arms, and shifter lever.

My birthday was last weekend, so my father and I took a trip to San Jose and Monterey. I put the stock bars back on with some risers to see if I liked that setup better than the apes (i dont). I just need another set of apes because the way these pitch my wrist inward/ hurts after a few hours of riding. I also put some passing lamp covers on to match the headlight.

The black bike is the same one in all the shots, except it's been changed over and over again, right?

Apparently you can.
Seems you can put a 150 on the rear without modifications of any kind, and a 160 with a new wheel...
