i have their fishtails. quality is very good...def nice stuff. i love them...and their customer service is awesome (from my experience). and the pipes sound awesome...look awesome and i get tons of compliments.
but, their instuctions on how to install which are included with the pipes are terrible....really terrible.
photocopy of a blurry crappy photocopy.
terrible pictures
not clear wording on install instructions.
i actually used posts and pictures on this forum on how to install the pipes correctly.
kind of felt like i bought a ferrari ....and the FSM was written by a first grader with a crayon.
My bike came with BG3 Street Sweepers (permanent baffles)... they had a nice bark on accell. but not to obnoxious during idle.. What I like mostly was the style pipe is nice/different than most...
If you want em for $100, they're sitting in my shed (replaced with vance and hines then sold the bike) Lemme know!
P.S. came off an 06 street bob 88ci..

samson Cholo 42"'s on the softail. Fit and finish is superb, I found install to be simple with the exception of the 1 bolt that holds the rear cylinder crossover pipe to the head. I have installed these pipes so many times that it is second nature. Good stuff all the way around. I run non baffled and they are LOUD! There are no other pipes that sound exactly the same as these Samson's. They will keep you from getting run over day after day.
Thanks Everyone very much for the feed back... Like i said my girlfriends dad has them on his fatboy no baffle and it sounds fantastic.... I love the selection they have...
My mom just put the rineharts on her fatboy and they look good sound alright but they had hell installing, when they took it to wolfgang grasser to tune it, he had to finish the install... I have the black denim so im thinking of going with the black pipes just don't know what style yet..
