NOw that's a pic that gets my heart racing! A Fat boy donor and some cash to buy good sheeiiiit. What could be better for the cold winter months? DAAAaaaamn!
I loved making Rats, Bobbers and especially a Gangster when the pockets were full. Now, no spare jingle and it's too damn tough to dig into my main ride since it's all dialed in for daily commute in the non-snow months. Aint life just full of tough choices.
Cheers.
Love the springer front end, and the whole look. Nice job man
I noticed the spring seat on the crossbones is an actual spring while Harley's current "spring seat" you can buy from their store isn't a spring it looks like a effing paper clip.
I want a springer seat like RIPs, with actual springs.
Can this be done for my softail slim? If so please link the item. Thanks bobber brothers!!

Yes you can do this with the "tractor" style seat, but the problem is
you need to use the correct frame cover kit. I'm thinking the one
shown for the scissors type spring seat will work with the coil springs,
but I'm not positive. If you use the kit for the 'bones, the ECM cover
wont fit correctly with the Slim's narrow rear fender.... So, do some
research, look on page 192 of the new '14 Parts & Accessory manual
for starters....
