I need to replace my 4 in risers on my 91 springer. They stripped out. I have been looking everywhere for a set and can not find any. I also have been looking for the stud conversion kit vt 37-0864 and can not find them. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the help.
I agree with the 8 Up, 21/64 drill bit, re-tap with 3/8 threads and install the helicoils.
The stock risers are made from a metal alloy which is a mix of pot metal and toilet paper. It strips out very easy. Happened to all of us. The repaired risers will be much, much stronger than stock. The repair will cost you about $20-30 if you need the tools too (some kits come with the bit, the tap and the heli-coil installer).
+3 on the helicoils. When I switched to apes on my springer, on the advice of others, I helicoiled all 4 holes and was done with it. Stronger then new!
You will waste time and money finding a new one, and when you do, it will just strip out again.
I helicoiled mine after they stripped. No big deal. But I don't like the look of the stock ones. There's quite a few that make springer-specific risers, but they're not cheap.
I know NYC Choppers, and LA choppers make some. But if you like the look/height of the stock ones, then just helicoil them.
To my Springer Brothers:
Find another option other than the Vt-37-0864 as they as far as I've been told by Vtwin Manufacturing is that they were removed from stock.
I had a set snap. If you got 'em check them for cracks this winter. Here is a link to my post on a near crash when they snapped after hitting a rash in the road at hiway speed. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...ath-story.html
