I recently acquired a 1988 FXSTC, it has sat for a while in a garage. It was taken care of pretty well for the most part but when we went to fire it up the other day it would start but then after running it would cut out. I'm in the process of getting new fluids in it and a fresh tank of gas but what could be the source of this problem? Could it be fixed with something as easy as a carb clean or maybe a new ignition switch? Thanks for any comments and help!!!
