Default Cycle Shack Slip-ons

Anybody tried cycle shack mufflers? I just ordered some CS slip-fit turn-out mufflers off Ebay for my FXST, because I can't take any more of sounding like I'm riding a BMW with these stock mufflers (got them when the no-baffle Samsons were too loud).

They were almost $100 cheaper than any CS slip-ons from J&P, but, of course, as soon as I paid a new auction popped up with the same mufflers for $40 less than I paid, from a guy closer to home.

Any reviews?

Great slip ons, recommended them to my father-in-law. You'll like them.

I put them on - they sound pretty good, but almost as loud as my straight pipes. Biggest thing is, they don't really go with the stock heat shields at all and the bracket seems to pull my rear pipe down lower than it should. I'll give them a try when it stops raining and see how I like them on the road.

I had them on my 04 Fat Boy. Looked stock, sounded great. Lounder and deeper at idle and easy acceleration, a lot louder when you open it up. Significantly more power with a SE aircleaner and rejet.

As I understand it, they made the old Screamin' Eagle IIs. They sound good to me.

I rode with the Cycle Shacks yesterday. The performance is a lot better than I expected. Much, much better than my Samson straight pipes. Doesn't sound like a mini-gun on deceleration, doesn't seem to have lost as much torque, compared to stock, etc. I'm happy with them. After a year of super-quiet mufflers, I thought they sounded as load as straight pipes, but my wife says they aren't. I'm happy with them.
