If you have a softail with drag bars would you Please post pictures of your beast... Trying to get an idea of what my heritage might look like with drag bars as my back is killing me with my current standard handlebars and I'm not a apes bar guy.
I'd have drag bars on my Rocker already if it wasn't a little too much reach for the ol' lady.
Going a little further, I was trying to figure out how to put rear foot controls on it a couple of weeks ago. Woudln't be easy. Forward controls are cool, but I saw a Harley at a bar the other day that was set up like a racer, and it was way cooler than the "same-old" conformist mods most people do.
Something to think about...
You should really take some time to figure out exactly where your hands need to be for comfort. One way to do that is have a buddy help you measure out to your hands as you place them in the most natural position for you.
You can also use PVC pipe to "fab" a set of bars to figure this out.
Little things like angles and pull back make a huge difference. Most people naturally have about a 15-20 degree down angle when naturally placing their hands and about the same front to back angle.
I have gone through a lot of "good looking" bars until I decided to build a set just for me and it has made a world of difference for comfort.
