Default risers with beach bars

What is the reason for going with lower risers with Beach Bars? Does anyone have Beach Bars or Longhorns with stock Deluxe risers.

The lower the beach bars sit on the bike the better they look. That's the whole idea of getting beach bars, you want that low pull back look for comfort. I've never seen them on high risers it wouldn't make sense. You just have to worry about them hitting the tank on low speed turns like parking.

I am starting the hunt for beachbars. Trying to get the details for everything invovled in the switch (bars, risers, cables)

If you put beech bars on risers, you might as well just get stock Fatboy or RK bars.

The bike I just bought has wide beach bars on the stock risers. I've already ordered 1" risers to drop them down. They just don't look right sitting that high on pull back risers.

I was thinking of going with the bikini beach bars. The rise on them isn't all that much. I think for me the narrower bar will feel better. Would sure make things easier if you knew people with them and you sat on their bike to try them out.

Any dealer should be able to sit you down in front of the bars to see how they feel.
