I am from São Paulo, Brazil, I own a Fat Boy 2012 and I would like to change the hanblebar for a new one with 15", can I cut the wires from switchs handlebar and extend these and weld again? Thanks

 

I did not change all the wires on mine, but I changed out 2 switches on the handlebar and cut and spliced them with no issues. Do a nice clean, weather protected job and you should be OK. Per some advise on here and my gramps early training, I offset the splices (don't bunch them all together), solder the wires together cleanly and seal the splice with liquid tape or shrink tube real good. Good luck.

 

it may be better for you to consider buying longer cables, that may be a much cleaner look

I know there is over 100% import fees for Brazil, but if you have the extra cash it would be a cleaner look
