I know for a fact it won't fit with the new speedo/tach combo. I tried it last year and found it out. The combo unit has a bump on the bottom that hits the fuelpump plug and the console won't sit all the way down. I even powdercoated it as I tried it without the wire harness and it fits but with the wires it is about a 1/4" off.
That is a beautiful unit! I would love the look of it on my bike, BUT... I know I would curse it on a sunny day when the sun is in the right position and is reflecting off the chrome. Zapp....there goes the retinas!!
You dont wear sun glasses? Besides there's nothing better that seeing blue sky in that chrome when you look down.
That console would look great on that bike, everybody's got the HD Low Pro

I hear you, that dash is great and yes, I wear sunglasses - but not welding goggles!!
I get to see plenty of blue sky on my huge headlight bucket, passing lamps and front end, but I have found that at certain times of the day, the light bounces, just right, off the dash and blindingly into the eyes. I have to hold a hand out while I ride just to block it.
I would love that dash, but I fear it would make the problem worse. My bike gets about 15K miles per year on her, I spend a lot of time riding her in the bright sun. Who knows, I may try it out to see how it is in real life. The fact that it is curved may reflect light away from my eyes....
Maybe it depends on which speedo/tacho you fit, I have that tank console and I have a speedo/tacho also, with no problems, the one I have is the Nostalgic one which looks similar to the Deluxe speedo, with an added tacho, looks cool.
can you post a pic or a part number to the speedo / tach that you have please

Dude, you had me scared for a minute. My mechanic (I am military stationed here in Europe), was able to get it to fit with a combo gauge. I will post pictures later.
