How did u figure the length of the struts? I thought about running them full length would look silly and in fact it would be unnecessary as you're now a solo rider 100%. Is this correct?
what is there to measure so many times? I assumed you just draw a line across the fender and cut it...? What's the shortest you can cut your fender without having to worry about shooting water up your back? I'm actually about to do this mod but wanting to get the specifics before I start chopping.
I would also assume your cut fender with the stock struts would still allow you to have a passenger. She would just be sitting on the solid fender.

What were they saying under their breath? It looks dumb on that bike. Sorry, but it does. Chopped fenders look great on a bike with apes, everything stripped off and a spring seat. But a ST Custom? It doesn't look right. Odds are you'll take it off after you sit back and look at it awhile.

I just took the Covers off the Struts . Don't know if I will ride Solo all the time girl friend has some medical probs right now , and can't ride.
