The looked cool on "Harley's" bike in the movie, but that was a long time ago. I did put a clear distributor cap on my VW powered sand rail, kinda cool at night. Thinkin I'll leave the scoot alone.
Isaw them on a bike at a rally this summer, thought they were cool. Got on E BAY and paid up the $199 for a green set... BIG MISTAKE! Installed them in about 30 minutes, fired her up, and sweet! They were super cool. I loved them. The next day me and a buddy went for a ride, once we got about 2 hours from the house the rear one just fell apart. couldnt get it back together with the LED in place, so I eliminated it with a wire out of a bread tie. (Do not try this at home) Tried to limp to a shop, went about 15 minutes and...... The G.D. front one came apart the same as the other. Had to leave the bike on the side of the road and ride bitch with my buddy. Worst ride of my life. All because of little lights that I thought were cool.
to me it'd be like those who like the carnival lights all over their bike. i'm no longer 12 years old, so that sorta crap just doesn't impress me at all. but it's your bike. nology used to have something along the lines of lighted plug wires, but it would likely screw with the electronics/sensors etc on the fuel injected electronics of our twin cam motors.
