Default Night train nightmares

Hey folks, first post in this forum, thanks for having me.Ive got a 2005 night train (fuel injected), bassani stepped pipes, intercooled procharger, and a power commander. Heres the problem. Riding one day and it popped coming off full throttle, did it a couple times at the stop light then seemed to clear up. A few days later, same thing. THEN....while coming home it started popping, losing power, and barely holding idle. Tried restarting it and only got a weak effort and then nothing. Ive since replaced the coil and plugs to no improvement. Power commander is still lighting up. ANY help, thoughts, advice would be greatly apperciated. Thanks and glad to be part of the forum.

So the bike is supercharged? Check your compression...just a tad lean with a blower will burn a hole in a piston in a hurry

A big pop is also indicative of a blown head gasket. Know this BS from experience and the engine will start but be super weak.

Yes its supercharged. Was just out looking this thing over and noticed a bit of oil from the front rocker box cover. Didnt see it at first, the SC units pipe and pop off valve are hiding it....guess its off the shop and hopefully only a few paychecks away from running.

Keep us posted on it. Sounds like a sick ride. Post up a pic or two?

Welcome to the forum from ND. Did you do a compression check on the bike after the problems started?
