I was sceptical at first as well, but everything worked out fine. The bike handles much better on the interstate.Now the front tire doesn't track the grooves in the road nearly as bad.
cool, glad to hear it works out OK, i dont have much seat time on my new big tire front end yet, but it does seem to not track the grooves like you said
all i did was go down to my local bike shop (frank mullin in toms river) they threw the tire on the rim for me
then i went home and:
broke loose the rotor screws while the bike was on the ground
jacked her up
took off the caliper
undid the axle
then just reversed the procedure, didnt have to changer any spacers or anything, everything lined up perfectly
