I was sceptical at first as well, but everything worked out fine. The bike handles much better on the interstate.Now the front tire doesn't track the grooves in the road nearly as bad.

yup the fender is the only real issue
all i did was go down to my local bike shop (frank mullin in toms river) they threw the tire on the rim for me
then i went home and:
broke loose the rotor screws while the bike was on the ground
jacked her up
took off the caliper
undid the axle
then just reversed the procedure, didnt have to changer any spacers or anything, everything lined up perfectly

Not to hijack....
Was stationed at Lakehurst in 1980 and 81.... The hanger that housed the hindenburg... what a huge building. Got my first tat in Toms River.
