Happened upon this a while ago. According to the VIN it's a 1984 FXRP. Got it with all the parts. She has matching numbers. I picked up a front wheel w/tire and a fairly complete P fairing. Still on the hunt fur the rest of the front end and a full length rear fender. Has good compression but I still haven't tried to fire her up. I'm going cheap on this as a first build/rebuild. It's gonna take a while but I'll try to keep anyone interested posted.
Cool , I moved up here from Capitola , Still ride down there a couple of times a year usually , my friends still ride up here 3 - 4 times a Year , Good Luck .
I assumed that a bike with rear shocks was a softail but I see that is not the case. So what is an FXR? A dyna? I'm embarrassed but if that is the price I pay to learn, so be it.
Dude..... I don't think that would be the bike I would go cheap on. Those are great bike and you don't find alot of them. I would bite the bullet and do a full concourse on it.
