I seldom listen to tunes as well and checking into ease of removal since my current windshield tends to spend more time off the bike than on. While at the dealer confirming pricing on a Mephis Shade, they also showed me another brand. It was more expensive, but comes with the windshield, and the design itself is different since it is new. I may go that route but need to do some research on it since they claimed easy install but not specifically a quick detach. Either way, I'll probably order new wheels and tires first since I do have the HD quick detach windshield. Wheels may just be my Christmas present to myself.

Nice one Mate, that really is what I had in mind. I ended up ordering a Klock Werks, but it doesn't fit. If they don't make one that does, might look into that

Really surprised how good these Batwings look on a Fatboy. I may have to start considering one, especially since I'm here in NJ and will ride right through the winter........32 and rising and we're out there. Also Love listening to tunes so my question is, when you add tunes to these, are you able to add so that it ends up looking like the quadzilla or is it a Chachki kind of install. I like that the way the Quadzilla looks and would want to be able to do that "Factory Type Install" if you know what I mean.

Default Awesome bike

I'm going to put a fairing on my 04' fatboy. What kit did you use to relocate the turn signals?

Glide Pro makes a Café Fairing that looks pretty nice and has several windshield option. IMO - I think it is a little pricey.

I just purchased a Wide Open Custom batwing fairing for my Night Train and they are a nice product can get it with stereo among other options and the price is decent. wideopencustom.com is their web page. I would post a pic but being a newbe to the forum can't do it just yet.

I have been looking at batwings for my Deluxe. Kind of going back and forth whether to do it or not as I have the quick detach windshield now but having had 2 baggers with fairings in the past I know that they provide better wind/bug protection. Would like one that fits the Harley quick detach hardware.
