My New Heritage
Made the deal and rode it home Friday!
First mods--new wheels--beach life and spokes do not get along well.
New exhaust, Stage 1 and air cleaner--have to find the sound I like.
Engine guard is on order--negotiated for the guard and ISO grips installed as part of purchase deal.

Nice ride. Over the weekend I fitted some shotgun shocks to my Heritage, haven't ridden the bike yet, as the weather is terrible at the moment in the UK :-)

Thanks all! I did do a lot of test rides and rentals of different models and the Heritage was by far the best for me ergonomically for back and neck issues (but I do prefer the handling as well). But it was the enthusiasm and recommendations of the Softail owners on here that made me totally comfortable with the decision!
