.......... bummer ... you can take the battery out and get it Load tested , the dealer does it Free .. I get about 6 years out of my HD batteries ...
ahhh, good idea. I will take it out tonight and take it to the dealer to get it tested... that way I'm not buying a battery when my current battery may not be the issue. I hope it is though. lol That's an easy fix for me.

Pulled the battery and it looks like they (the dealer I bought it from...which is not just a Harley dealer) may have replaced the battery (or the original owner did).
Its a GYZ20HL Advanced Powersports Battery 12V. Looks like it is made by YUASA.
I assume this is not the original Harley battery? I'm assuming the original would have Harley all over it?
Its also weird the way they had it connected. They had it connected to the side post and not the top, which made it a bit of a pain to get to the connecters to unhook it.
Oh! You broke it!! Can't keep anything nice can you?
Have you checked for codes?
The dash lights wouldn't come on (the digital part...with the mileage, etc). Only thing that came on was the headlight and the oil light (I think it was).... the dash light behind the speedo also came on, although looked kinda dim.
Mine is connected at the side of the terminals as well. Makes for close quarters in there, doesn't it?
You can try to remove the end cover of the solenoid and depress the plunger to get the starter to kick over.

Uh...yea, that's over my head. Lol
I can do that with ought the battery hooked up? I already pulled the battery and put it in my truck to take to the dealer so they could test it tomorrow.
