Bike looks great.

Since I have done several things to my Deluxe and it is pretty much the way I like it. It has a few mods and it rides great. It works wonderfully as my dailt ride.

I have been considering building a hardtail as a fun bike. But after seeing this bike and getting a few ideas from other bobbed/chopped softails I have started to switch to maybe building a chopped/bobbed softail. So I think it might be time for me to start hunting for a used softail as a second bike to be my mod bike.

I've been looking for a springer front end to use on the bike but haven't found one that I've liked yet. Yours is perfect & exactly what I want. Could you please list the specs (manufacturer, length, trail, rake, etc). Thanks so much in advance. And thanks for posting your bike. If I had any doubts that I could turn my FLST into my vision, your bike elimated them!
If your looking for a springer then either go factory or a repop like mine. Mine is a replica of a 45 which is the same as a factory springer but about 2 inches shorter. Me personally.. I wouldnt mount up a cheap crappy springer I like factory and since a factory one is big bucks and I wanted a lower one anyway it was a no brainer. It will still cost you though. There are a few places that sell these but they all come from a factory in the Netherlands so shop price. Try 45partsdepot which is renamed bit a google search will find it.

Thanks, Bradley. After I posted on your thread, I contacted Paughco & they helped me pick out a front end. 2" under stock like you suggested. And like you said, not cheap!! But I'm going with Heartland (also not cheap) because of their quality, so I'm not going to cheap out on the front end. Do you remember the manufacturer of your front end? If so, are you pleased with it? I told the tech at Paughco that I didn't like the rake of the factory springers and he told me the factory springers are actually under raked. So I'm definitely going aftermarket and right now leaning toward Paughco. Thanks for your help! Oh, almost forgot - what type of suspension are you running in the rear? Did you just lower the factory suspension or is it something more, like the air ride?

Edit: Just checked Flatland Motorcycle company (formerly 45partsdepot) and they are considerably cheaper than Paughco. Is that where yours is from? Are you happy with it? Thanks again for your help. I'm still leaning towards the Paughco but if I can save a few bucks - why not??

I didn't get it from flatland but thats the one I have. After talking to another memeber from the Netherlands he suggested it cause he lives near the factory that makes em. All those 45 repops come outa that factory and get branded the resellers name. I went thru custom chrome or shome ****. The price was right even though I dont care for that distributor. The paughco ones are made diffrently than these repops and I dont care for em. If you find a custom chrome dealer they usually get free shipping which males it cheaper than flatland but it's the same product.

Oh and the picture shows my bike with a lowering kit but I have since switched to air ride cause the price was right. It looks exactly the same though but has adjustability.

AWESOME ride man. I did the same thing with my football. I kept the stock center since it was one of the few parts that still showed its a Rocker-C. The heartland kit makes it look like a Rocker in the rear. Definitely one of my favorite bikes I've seen.

Also, I racked my brain going back and forth on a front fender but decided a springer deserves to be fenderless. The front rooster tail wasn't as bad as I'd thought it'd be when caught in the rain. At the right speed, the front and rear both clear me.
