It's a replacement fender. My original plan was to cap the stock fender, but I didn't have the room to do it. The fender was designed as a replacement, though, so it worked out.

Did a little sanding and buffing tonight. Looks a lot better. Not bad for a garage job, I guess:





Now if only the crummy weather would go away so I could get some outside pics!!

very nice. job well done, and the color is awsome. what other mods do you have in mind? please dont take this the wrong way, i'm gonna throw out a few sugestions.

chrome fork lowers
chrome switch housings
headbolt bridge, or diamond cut cyls. and heads
paint the rear fender splash to match

keep up the great work, and keep us posted on this great transformation...steve
