Story808 did this on the night train forum and lundee used pvc pipe rattle can paint black but the part on story808 can't find it no more on the web could get lucky searching

Either way thnx for finding that link I knew it was out there as well but couldnt find it.
Interesting idea. I had a guy come in to the shop with a VROD that used black vinyl from a sign store. It looked pretty good and better than I could imagine PVC looking. There is a sing store right next to the shop so I might just have them slap some on my forks to see how it looks.
Vinyl would do the trick as far as blacking that area out but the pipe makes the front look stockier. I'm gonna get this done one way or the other, I'll post pics when it's done
not sure how permanent your front end is but I had a buddy paint his. He left the forks installed and tapped then painted. I'm sure most guys on here would say not to but he rocked that painted look with no problems for a good 10k miles before he sold the bike.
