black vinyl wrap. The stuff that looks like a sticker sheet and comes in colors, carbon fiber look etc.

Just out of curiosity, whats the point in doing that? What does it do or accomplish?

fork boots then?!? I have the Ness chrome fork boots on the way, PVC?

He's referring to the tube between the trees. Yours cover below the lower triple tree.

That would make them black, but the PVC would make the front end look "bulkier" as well, which is the second effect I am going for.

As mentioned already, fork boots are for the lower area, these will sit between the trees. And yes, this is just for looks, plus everybody knows every sq inch of black you add to your bike gives it about 2 extra hp

Story808 did this on the night train forum and lundee used pvc pipe rattle can paint black but the part on story808 can't find it no more on the web could get lucky searching

Thanks for the link. I'd rather make them honestly, also I measured the length between my trees and I only have about 5-1/4". Those would be a little too big.

we have made several sets out of metal and powder coated them for the dyna and a few for sporty guys. i am sure we could help you out as well
