Same can be said for products made elsewhere.
When they are reverse engineered and cut corners on top of no development investment , you end up with what appears to be one heck of a deal.

(not sure if from previous quarter or year over year ... just saw the 'headline' numbers) ...

Lol... whether the price of the stuff is right or wrong... After paying 15k for a bike , your not telling me you can't find 700$ for a set of pipes! And Harley know that .

From what I understand it depends on the company ordering the manufacturing run. You can pay for closer tolerances on parts, but since it takes more work and leaves more room for error, it costs more.
